HUMAN ERRORS
Human Errors is a capsule collection designed for the season of Spring-Summer 2022.
It is inspired by the design 'flaws’ and ‘errors’ of the human body.

There are a lot of body parts on a human that is designed ‘wrongly’ that could be improved. The encourages the wearer to ponder on questions about the relation between the human body and the garment.

'Should garments that are designed should follow the body form, or it could be the other way round?'

Exploring collages on a distorted human form (model poses) to extract shapes by viewing from an interesting perspective. Paper draping is also used to extract forms on the different body part.
Draping on a mannequin with stuffed fabric to achieve distortion on a human form. Different lumps on the body create stiff shapes which inform the alteration of the human body.
Analyzing the different ways of plotting the stuffed neoprene fabric by breaking down details that are informed by the research.
Extracting colors from primary visuals that reflect the color which could find on a human body. Combining different tones and shades of the color to finalize the color board.
